Halloweeeneeeee

This was Ava's second halloween and she dressed up as a tiger - well, kinda. It was so warm that evening that she was only able to wear half of her outfit. I think everyone got the point though! We started the evening by eating dinner at a friends and walking around for a little while. Ava enjoyed walking around and watching the other kids, but she is probably still a little confused by what was actually going on!

Ava's First Dentist Appointment

Ava had her first dentist appointment today. She had her teeth cleaned and examined. Although she didn't enjoy it, she did really well (didn't kick mommy!)

Pumpkin Patch

During Rob and Nancy's trip we went up to a pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect halloween pumpkin for Ava. It was her first trip and first hay ride! We all enjoyed some free boiled pnuts at the farm as we sat in rocking chairs on the farm store porch.

80's Party

Eric and I were invited to an 80's party not too long ago - do you think we would pass?? Don't give me any grief since I wasn't around in the 80's and don't know what people wore back then :P

Train Museum and Corn Maze

At the beginning of October we were invited to hang out with some friends of ours at a local train museum and corn maze. We had lots of fun riding around in the mini train and checking out the old train cars. The corn maze was fun too, we just didn't realize is would be so hot that day!

Disneyworld Trip

After our trip back to San Diego, we took ANOTHER trip to Walt Disney World with our good friends Eric and Misty. We had a ball and can't wait to take Ava back next year!

Dad's Surprise Birthday

We surprised my dad for his 60th birthday by secretly flying in and surprising him at work. Later that night we went to a Padres game. On Saturday we took Ava to my favorite place, Balboa Park, then we went to the New Children's Museum (Ava has become a museum connoisseur). It was a great, granted short, weekend!
